English Language Challenges

Hello! This time I'm going to write about the challenges that I have started in English. First, I believe that the use of the blog is a good experience as us pulls out of the routine of do exercises that have made all our school life life as them tests. I think that write about topical or themes in specific is much better to learn English that others traditional exercises. Currently, it remains to improve the English conversation, English speaking. I think that for the education that we have received throughout our lives both at school and at the University improved much over our writing and reading our talking. For this, I've seen series or movies in English and with subtitles in the same language, trying to of remember words and memorize the pronunciation. I try to also make the mental exercise of talk and repeat while I see these series or movies. I would like to speak much more fluid English but not are many instances for practice both the language with another person, e.g., in a conversation.

the experience of have English is good, because is necessary not only for the field labor but also to relate us fluent with other people of the world. English remains the most spoken language in the world, so it is necessary to master it if we want to relate to people from all over the world.

I think that the English of the University allows you be always practicing it, because as all the things in this life deserves dedication and be inactive during a time can mean losing much of it learned.

Changes to my study programme

Hi! In this opportunity I'm going to talk about good and bad things in the career of journalism, and as I think that should improve. While this year is implemented changes to the study programme, are changes that not see us as are applied to them students of first year. I am not very informed, but added the course of history, for example, that I consider essential in our training. For personal interests, I would like to more approach to audiovisual and social communication than in journalism itself.
Another problem to consider is the lack of technical tools. For example, always missing cameras, tripods, microphones and recorders, especially because not exist a coordination from them teachers to request work. Also, the equipment is share with the career of cinema by what obviously for them are essential tool.

I think also that the use of the technology still is late in some years. There are elective courses where you can learn, for example, web documentary, but in the career newly started to write to the network in fourth year. While not is essential for the career, I think that is necessary for our times handle and go equally with advances technological.

Obviously there are things good. I think what has journalism and the University of Chile is that always they instill you a look and social utility of what you are studying. Many works and the majority of the classes is focus in this, by what you instilled to look to the journalism as a tool of social transformation.

A person you admire

To the contrary of the majority of the people, I not am someone that admires too much people. I think that one can rating certain features of someone, or highlight attitudes of the other person, but feel that admire to someone is worship it in its totality, and nobody is so good for that.

However, I think that of natural way one is inclined to admire to old people. Is for this that I admire many attitudes, experiences of life and features of my grandfather. Enrique Doll is 74 years old, has been married for 50 years and has 4 daughters.  It is something that I could not do (maybe because I have 50 years younger than him), always was dedicated - and continues to do so - all his life to his family.

Son of a Spanish that escaped from the civil war in Spain and son of a father that had 50 years which the was born, always explain me as was her life before, something that always I liked know.
He is agronomist engineer from Universidad Católica, so I dismissed it to do gardening at home, something that has it quite motivated. Now explains to me as it should be to the plants, how much have to water them, cycles of vegetables, etc. I have learned many things with him, thing that I quite like.

Also we laughed a lot. Has the confidence with me to count me as really sees to his family, something completely away of what one could think of a grandfather. That is fantastic.

Post graduate studies

Hi! As I mentioned, in Chile is currently very expensive to study something after career. Many people left with a huge debt after the first career, so for many people would be impossible to pay the career a then study again, obviously are really expensive.

However, there are many countries in the European Union, which gives scholarships to specialize in many areas. I met an Argentine, who was studying for a doctorate in Spain thanks to a scholarship from Belgium, country that gives the opportunity to Latin American students in math.
This scholarship lasted 5 years and gave you money for your stay in the foreign country and paid to the University, in other words, everything you need.

In this sense, for me it is important to study outside the country because given a new idea about the country of origin, it always comes back with another vision and perspective. Obviously, an important point is the scholarship application. Europe, above all, has many options of college scholarships for study in their different countries of the European Union, by which in addition to studying outside the important thing is to not continue to spend money on education.

As I said in another post, I'd like to study a post graduate studies in audiovisual with a blended system. In this way, it licenses digital tools with basics of having presence classes.  I would study in another country also because I believe that learning different things to the native culture helps to come up with an original perspective to the country of origin, contributing to the development of the studied area.

My favourite music

Say that I like all type of music is a great cliche of the humanity. But on this occasion, personally, is a total reality. However, there are some favorite music genres and others that I have never heard. For example, never have heard heavy metal and that type of stuff. If I like much the rhythms Latino as
the salsa, the cumbia and the merengue, between some styles music.

All depends of the state of mind with which wake up. If I have desire to of listen hiphop, hear to the
rapper Spanish Kase- O, if am animated, listen to the band Chilean Moral distraída, that mix merengue, cumbia and reggaeton. There are certain bands Latin American of Indie Pop that I like as Amarga Amarga, Julen y la gente sola, Mono Azul, Perro Amigo, Las Olas, among others.

As do not understand much of music to level technical, appreciate the music according to
appreciation of ear. If something sounds good to me, it is something that is going to like me, no
matter the genre that is. In addition, the music is always associated memories, feelings and
experiences. Always going to remember them eternal travel to the North and South of the country
listening to the cassette of the Los Prisioneros with my family.

Or those eternal dances in adolescence - and now - with reaggeaton.

My future job

Hello!

Although not have idea of the work perfect, if I have some ideas of what I would like to make to future. Thinking about what I like to do today, my perfect job must be linked with the audiovisual and photographic field. In the written area, I'd like to write chronicles about stories in general, that represent and contribute to the construction of identity of our country.

I don't want to work in an office, so my ideal job must be linked to traveling around the world or Chile. I don't have many claims on the money. I think that, above all when one is single and childless, you must prioritize the work in the area that you like better, according to their professional pretensions. While the money I reach to be independent and have no worries, it is enough for me. I don't need luxuries.

Unfortunately, it is increasingly necessary to study something in addition to the degree. For personal matters, and if I have the money, I would like to study in order to specialize in the audiovisual sector, only to have more tools and knowledge at the time of a professional challenge.

In conclusion, my ideal job would be in an independent production company. of this way, I can mix my interest by the audiovisual with the communications within the society.

Good bye

Ignacio Villagra.

My favorite place to eat

In this opportuny, I'm going to talk about one of the best places to eat in this city. It is not a place in particular, but it has been historic for the development of santiago. I am speaking about la vega, specifically the abasto market Tirso de Molina.

Resultado de imagen para mercado de abasto tirso de molina

It is a place that brings me many memories of childhood. Was a classic in my family to go shopping for fruits and vegetables for lunch then on the market. Cazuelas, corn cake, rice with chicken or meat and the most popular porotos con rienda were my favorite.

It is a place that has been modernized over time, because it has had many improvements. Mechanical stairs, places renewed, facade new are some of the improvements of this place

While previously most of the restaurants were of Chilean food, currently abound the Colombian and Peruvian dishes, among others. Is very common find food typical of the others countries, like ceviche or chicken to the Colombian.

In addition to the rich food, the prices are really cheap, so it is highly recommended for all.
