Red Hot Chili Peppers, 2011

Today, I´m tell you a history about a concert. I´m not a really fan for go all the concert because the most are expensive and I have a little scare about multitude, but my grandfather are associate with the Monumental stadium, reason that I went free with two friends to the concert of Red Hot Chili Peppers in 16 of September of 2011.

I´m not soooo much fanatic for this group, but... IT’S FREE!! I knew the classic songs like... snow, dani California, other side, can´t stop, by the way… any way, popular songs.

The concert was really fun, really, sing to oneself the songs because my English don’t are really good like now (jajaja) and enjoy with my friends, they are really fan, and for that I invite them.
Ok, all good and fun, finished the concert and I and my two friends are waiting the bus for go to own houses. Like u suppose, all transantiago´s are really full of people. In this case, I told my friends, ok, bye, I go alone in this other bus (225), that arrive nearly my house.

Good. Happy, I took the bus, sitting in all routes, and then 15 minutes, 30 minutes, I don’t recognize the scenery out of the windows!! I took the bus to the other side!! (like the song)!!

CAMPUS JGM

Ok, Hello. The degree in Journalism at Universidad de Chile is located, obviously, in Chile, Santiago, specifically, in campus Juan Gómez Millas (JGM), in Ñuñoa. This campus have this name in homage a university director, who was too the education minister of education, stands up in Frei Montalva president period.

In this campus converge various degrees like social science, arts, natural science, cinema, high school and journalism, of course. I think, this is the reason why this campus are varied in the people, thinking, and activities, among other things.

This beautiful campus has (much more in other time) so much grass, trees, relax places and recreation areas. Nevertheless, the multiples buildings, related with the increased number year a year of the students, converted this place in a city with bars, but equally lovely.

Are students from all socio-economic status. Nevertheless, like in general of Universidad de Chile, the most people are from a high socio-economic status, in simile the Chilean fact.

Studying in this campus is really nice because are people really tolerant and open mind. Different interest are in harmony like cycling, with the Taller Cooperativo de Bicicletas in Department of Philosophy, jugglers, for say something, political groups, musicians, etc. ¡¡All you can imagine!!

I don’t know if there something that I don’t like for this campus, but, if I be obligatory to say something, is the absence of respect with the diferents opinion. The people more conservative, religious or right-wing are considered nasty pieces of work. Because, sure, the open minds and freedom of expression are restricted to MY opinions. BAD!

But, this is my campus and I love it. In this place I have all things that I need, I feel comfortably. There all category of persons and friends with share all dreams.

Mónica Gonzáles

Mónica Gonzáles Mujica is a Chilean journalist and the actual director from the Center of Chilean's Journal Investigationses (CIPER).

She studied Journalism in University of Chile, she finished the carreer the year 1971. In the time of the Popular Unite she worked in the diary "The Century" and in the magazine "Now", both of them at favor of Salvador Allende's goverment. In 1978 she worked as investigation journalist in the magazines "Cauce " abd "Analisis", both of them against Pinochet's goverment.

She made the books: Bomba en una calle de Palermo (1986), with Edwin Harrington; Los secretos del Comando Conjunto (1989), with Héctor Contreras; Chile entre el Sí y el No (1988), with Florencia Varas; y La Conjura. Los mil y un días del golpe (2000). with Patricia Verdugo and Ricardo García, writer of the history from 1973 “Entre el dolor y la esperanza”.

I chose her for beeing an excelent investigation journalist who has known recreate herself with the pass of the time, without stay in the saddnes of the Popular United and writting about actual things to a society that goes with too many information arround it but with little bit of peoples that can get it well. A job that in my opinion Gonzales has dedicate to it all her life as a repoter and as a journalist.

This front page tells the supposed history about national mood in the context of the bombs in subway “Escuela Militar”, and reminds the other famous headline in the dictatorship “Exterminate like mouses (Exterminados como ratones)”.

“The fear is back (El retorno del miedo)” says the headline, and shows in a picture a police woman with disgusted face and other man from the back, all covered by people in the subway.

The newspaper La Segunda is used to do this kind of news, and not something unusual.
Nevertheless, is interesting to think about this because, as a journalist, we have a responsibility for reflect and don’t call to the panic in national population.

This headline provokes a lot of comments in social pages like Twitter and Facebook, and many indignation and debate in the classroom.

The investigation of this case presumably has relation with the bomb in subway “Los Dominicos”, but it’s something in investigation yet.
Like I apreciate too much photography, it was very hard to me to chose only one to talk about, but I think this is a photo that shows similary what I have tried to represent in my blog.

This picture was taken by a Carlos Hevia a friend from the Mountain club, who has alway taken very good pictures.

In this photo there is a church in Peru, wich has two big towls in it sides, with palm trees. In the center, a kid get hide of the rain down of a sponge bob's umbrella. This picture was taken in summer 2013.

I like it because of the simple of the photo, a normaly situation as the rain in a city can be a fact so good yo be photographied.

Also I like it because Carlos plays photography as a hobbie, but with the time he has been learning and he has taken everytime a better picture, what motivates me to buy a camera anda follow his dedication.
Like Ernesto "Che" Guevara, who traveled around Southamerica in his motobike, my dream is doing the same but with a little change: travel arround this beutiful country in my bicycle.

Titicaca lake, Machu Pichu, Iquitos, Amazon Jungle, Bogota or Caracas, everythem are places that I wish to know. It's so big the admiration for the overseas, for Europe or northamerica that we forget that closer from us there are many places to know. Nevertheless, I will start this travel here in Chile, around beutiful views that gives me Austral road, in the South of the country.

Here I will know more from austral culture from Chile, admiring the impactant nature. I will eat all the food that someone gives me, no asking, because it's somethin that I believe it's necesary to say that you traveled to that place, they just have to tell me that it's typical food from there. Naturally, to this travel I will go alone just for the simple reason of that my bike just has one seat, but hoping that it will be a espiritual travel that helps me to get experience in this tipes of adventures.

Techno joy

Really, I don’t like so much the technology. In this moment, I have a cell phone, a Motorola G, it was expensive but I use it for everything, it´s my first cell phone at a high price. It´s has Camera, music, internet, mail, everything. I had the courage to live without cell phone but my family, work and university don’t allow it. So, I only survived two weeks.

I really want buy a nice camera, not so expensive but that permits me take good pictures. I take a picture to everything in any place: like in the street people, in the sea, in the university but I like the mountains and activities outside there are my principal attention.

Also I have a notebook that  I use for university works and to see series. It´s a Toshiba, I bought to classmate. It´s not really good, or a last model, but I don’t use it for too much things.

Beeing realistic, the technology is really useful but there are garbage products. Things excessively biggers and expensive are not really necessary.

Hi, my full name is Ignacio Ramón Villagra Doll, but my family and friends call me Nacho. This nickname is more brief to say Ignacio, because in my country people have the habit to shorten all the words. I was born on the 25th January 1994 in Santiago, Chile. This is a contaminated city, but with the time i have learnt to love this place. I went to Municipal school in Vitacura called Liceo Amanda Labarca. This school capture me fourteen years of my life, but finally I left in 2012. After, in 2013, I got into the University of Chile to studied Journalism, I am in second year currently.
